Langsa (May 24, 2023) – In collaboration with the Muhammadiyah University of Aceh, the Directorate of Research, Technology, and Community Service, along with the Directorate General of Higher Education, Research, and Technology, organized a two-day Training on Writing National Scientific Articles in 2023. The training, which took place from May 23 to May 24, 2023, was attended by 42 representative participants who were selected through a screening process conducted in January.
The event was held at the Kryad Meuraya Hotel in Banda Aceh and featured esteemed speakers at the national level. Ms. Hardiana, S.ST., M.E., the Coordinator of DRPTM Scientific Journals and Publications, the Director General of Research, Technology, Ministry of Education and Culture, and Dr. H. Aslam Nur, M.A., the Chancellor of the Muahammadiyah University of Aceh, were present. Additionally, experienced facilitators, who held functional professor positions and possessed expertise in the field of publications, guided the selected lecturers. The primary objective of this activity was to enhance the competence of lecturers in writing scientific articles and publications at both national and international levels, as it is an essential responsibility of lecturers in the tridarma of higher education.
In her opening remarks, Ms. Hardiana stated, “Among thousands of submitted scientific articles, only 42 articles were chosen for further guidance. It is my hope that the participants here today can enhance their publication output in the future.”
The selected facilitators were experts in their respective fields, carefully chosen to deliver the training content in a clear and understandable manner. They were divided into groups to assist participants in reviewing and refining their manuscripts, providing guidance throughout the process until the articles are ready for submission to the target journals.
