Langsa- The Undergraduate Judiciary of the Faculty of Economics, Universitas Samudra for Period I, 2023, took place on Friday (5/5/2023) in the Hall of the Unsam Multi-purpose Building. The event was attended by esteemed individuals, including the leadership of the Faculty of Economics, namely Dean Makhroji, S.Pd., M.Pd., Chairman of the Senate Faculty of Economics Puti Andiny, S.E., M.E., Deputy Dean for Academic Affairs Dr. Martahadi, S.Pd., M.Sc., Deputy Dean for General Affairs and Finance Syardiansyah, S.T., M.T., Study Program Coordinators, lecturers, the Judiciary for Period I, 2023, and invited guests.

In the report presented by the Coordinator of the Management Economics Study Program, Suri Amelia, SE., M.Sc, it was stated that there were 40 graduates from the Management Study Program. The breakdown is as follows: 40 people or 100% achieved a Very Satisfying predicate. The average GPA of the graduates is 3.54, and the average duration of study completion is 4 years and 4 months.

Moving on, the Coordinator of the Development Economics Study Program, Safuridar, S.E., M.Si, reported that there were 24 graduates from the Development Economics Study Program. The details are as follows: 24 people or 100% achieved a Very Satisfying predicate. The average GPA of the graduates is 3.50, and the average study period is 4 years and 5 months.

Furthermore, the Coordinator of the Accounting Study Program, Muhammad Salman, S.E., M.Sc, presented a judicial report on 26 graduates of the Accounting Study Program at Samudra University. The breakdown is as follows: 26 people or 100% achieved a Very Satisfied predicate. The average GPA of the graduates is 3.62, and the average study period is 4 years and 4 months.

In his remarks, the Dean of the Faculty of Economics, Makhroji, S.Pd., M.Pd, extended his congratulations to the graduates who have successfully completed their studies at the Faculty of Economics and earned a Bachelor of Economics degree.

“On behalf of the entire Faculty of Economics family, I would like to extend our heartfelt congratulations and best wishes to all the graduates who have successfully completed their studies. We believe that your graduation ceremony marks the beginning of a journey where you can utilize the knowledge you have acquired to make a positive impact on society.”

“The Judiciary has officially granted you the full rights and authority to use the Bachelor of Economics degree, with the abbreviation S.E. Henceforth, you are legally entitled to add the title S.E. after your name.”

“We should rejoice and express our gratitude for the opportunity to gather here today and celebrate this graduation ceremony. Yudisium holds great significance for students as it serves as a moment of affirmation, validating the successful completion of all graduation requirements and the dedicated period of study.”

The Dean also extended his heartfelt gratitude to the lecturers who have diligently guided and educated the students, imparting not only knowledge and expertise but also instilling moral and religious values, shaping them into well-rounded individuals.

Furthermore, the Dean provided valuable advice, emphasizing the importance of alumni maintaining their competence as intellectual scholars and upholding their sense of nationalism. He encouraged them to pursue further studies at the master’s level (S2), reassuring them that financial constraints need not be a hindrance as there are numerous scholarships available both domestically and internationally, enabling them to pursue their studies at home or abroad.

“Never cease your pursuit of knowledge, for life is an endless source of lessons. Stay productive, as your family, community, and country eagerly await your dedicated service.”

He continued by emphasizing that after completing their studies at the Faculty of Economics, the real challenges lie in social life. These challenges must be met with wisdom, as they will test the integrity of the graduates and determine the extent to which their knowledge can be applied and valuable to society.

“Make the most of the knowledge you have acquired and demonstrate your competence as a graduate, so that the community around you can benefit from the enlightening knowledge you have gained at Universitas Samudar,” added the Dean.

In this series of events, the Reading of the Decree of the Dean of the Faculty of Economics at Universitas Samudra regarding the Graduation Judgment of the Faculty of Economics Period I for 2023 was conducted by Mayang Murni, S.Pd., M.Sc. The event was hosted by Agnes Monica, while the Reading of the Holy Qur’an and prayers were conducted by Farizal, S.T. Impressions and Messages from the Judiciary was conveyed by Ditiya Darmawan, and the event was hosted by Hilwa Fachri. (Unsam Public Relation)
