Langsa- On September 11, 2023, the Langsa City Regional Financial Access Acceleration Team (TPAKD) paid a visit to UNSAM with the aim of promoting regional potential. Also in attendance at the event were UNSAM Chancellor Prof. Dr. Ir. Hamdani, MT., Deputy Chancellor I Dr. Ir. Cut Mulyani, M.P., Deputy Chancellor II Dr. Rachmatsyah, M.Pd., and Head of the General and Financial Bureau, Ir. Adnan, M.M., at the UNSAM Chancellor’s office.
The Assistant for Economy and Development of the Regional Secretary of Langsa City, who serves as the Chair of the Langsa City TPAKD, stated that in order to meet the national financial inclusion target of 90% by 2024, the Regional Financial Access Acceleration Team (TPAKD) has actively implemented various effective financial inclusion programs initiated by both the central government and regional government. Naturally, these programs are also expected to promote the development of the region’s outstanding potential and align with the thematic program of the TPAKD.
Moreover, UNSAM’s Chancellor expressed hope that the Langsa City Government, specifically the Chair of the Langsa City TPAKD, would see the successful implementation of the TPAKD program. Several aspects to be prepared and discussed collectively were on the agenda, and any programs agreed upon can subsequently be jointly executed by UNSAM and the Regional Government.
Also present at the TPAKD coordination meeting were the Head of the Economy and Natural Resources Division, as well as the Head of the Economics/Youth Policy Analysis Subdivision, and staff from the Economy and Natural Resources Section of the Langsa City Regional Secretariat.
